We collect minimal information necessary to deliver our services:
- Account Data: When you register, we store your username, email address, password hash, and optional profile details.
- Waitlist Email: When you subscribe to our launch waitlist, we store your email address purely for launch notifications and zero spam.
- User Contributions: Publicly submitted websites, reviews, ratings, and curated collections.
3. How Data Is Used
Your information is strictly used to operate the Browsey directory, manage user authentication, verify email ownership, and send requested notifications.
4. Data Protection & Security
All user credentials are stored using industry-standard salted hashing and encrypted database connections. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
